my headphones broke like 2 months ago and i’m currently in my “sounds of the city” era. But these…
i really love this cindy lee album at the moment have had it on repeat for the last few weeks.
“kingdom come” and “all i want is you” are my favourite songs on the album but i think the whole thing is a masterpiece.
i also listen to this acapella girls group cover of brooklyn baby by lana religiously as a means of bolstering my belief that the world isn’t totally devoid of community.

i can’t lie and say i haven’t been reading sarah j maas “acotar series” they’ve been my commuter books for a while (ashamed to say) theres nothing like reading smutty fairy fiction on public transport.
besides from that i’ve just finished amrita by banana yoshimoto who does magical realism toi well and earlier in the year i read gary indianas book “do everything in the dark” which i enjoyed a lot.
i also just finished “waiting on god” by simone weil for the second time, which is a real trip.

my dream to own a lawrence lebduska drawing and this one is on ebay for 3.5k…
love this antique french blue silk ribbon… obviously… can’t really justify the £35 on a piece of ribbon right now but we can dream
last but definitely not least is this OOAK stock icy doll listed for this steal. eyes are very recessed but quite good value in my opinion.
things to make:
i’m making a lot of things at the moment, always sort of making i suppose, flower arrangements art works jewelry, photographs, little books… but without giving too much away.
i’ve been sewing a lot which is exciting, am currently working on a pair of upcycled trousers for summer time made from this fun jersey.
yesterday i made a structure for my sweetpeas to grow on. i made it out of young branches from this tree that i found blown down in alexandra palace. it’s been a few months and the sweet peas love it.
weirdly late to this trend but i’ve been periodically making that “dalgona iced coffee” that everyone was obsessed with over lockdown. i used to hate instant coffee and my boyfriend loves it so it has bridged a sore spot between us. :P
