welcome back to “it’s personal” — where we’ll get personal with some of my favorite people to hear what they’re talking about that isn’t the weather.

it’s personal with the founder of lazy jamie (@lazyjamiehome), jamie lenore mckillop…
things jamie is listening to:
ride the podcast for incredibly niche pop culture references, which don’t make me feel totally insane for knowing.
chappell roan because i’m a woman existing in the world and a friend recently gifted me spotify premium after being horrified to learn i didn’t have it.
the giggly squad with hannah berner and paige desorbo. this actually converted me into a summer house fan, which i suppose is the opposite arc for most.
things jamie is reading:
i wanted to waste less time and become more productive so i’m reading atomic habits, to which my husband suspiciously asked me who recommended it because it’s normally only read by douchebag finance bros, i believe.
in that same vein, i’ve been researching feng shui online to make my workspace more productive. i found this article to be useful.
eleanor oliphant is completely fine is a book i wish i could read over and over again for the first time.
things in jamie’s cart:
in my cart: these chocolate suede loafers for fall from ukrainian brand hvóya.
recently purchased: this 1990s herve leger knit dress, which i’m thrilled to be wearing to someone else’s wedding as a guest, having just planned and had my own.
holy grail items: the lazy jamie snack bowls are our most versatile item. you can use them for snacks, desserts, children, pets… they’re dishwasher safe and made of stainless steel, so they’re virtually destructible.
things jamie is making:
i’ve spent the last two years developing furniture for lazy jamie and i’m getting closer each day on releasing it, although we still have a long way to go. not to be one of “those people” but that’s all i can say for now, sadly!
i don’t do a lot of cooking but i’m an expert in ordering out or making reservations
boxed mac and cheese whenever my husband is out of town
things jamie is *swooning* over:
